Results - ECSC Bantam Girls - Summerside, PEI

The Stratford Flames (ON3) defeated Enniskillen Express (ON1) 5 - 1 in the Bantam Girls Eastern Canadian Championship game. The game was tied at 0 - 0 after 7 complete innings. In the top of the eighth Stratford opened the scoring with 5 unearned runs. The Express scored one run in the bottom of the inning. Deanna Ditner was the winning pitcher while Erin Toth of the Express took the loss. The Host Western Stingers made the playoff round with a 4 - 1 record, but lost to Laval Extreme (QC1) 7 - 4. Top Pitcher for the tournament was Kate Cashin of the Stingers with a 3 - 0 record, struck out 27 batters, allowed 4 runs in 18 innings. Top Batter and MVP was Erin Toth. Toth went 9 for 13 at the plate and pitched over 20 innings for Enniskillen Express.
